Aaron Demond

I have studied economics and computer science in Halifax, Nova Scotia, at both Dalhousie University and Saint Mary’s University. I’ve been to hack-a-thons, worked as a full stack developer, and have an interest in Artificial Intelligence. I’m comfortable working with bash, configuring databases, and writing Python.

About

Coded for 10+ years, using industry standards such as the MVC Design pattern and Enterprise grade systems, such as RHEL 6.
Written various software, including a JavaScript audio recorder tool inspired by Matt Diamond’s Recorderjs, a DBMS, and more.
Worked over one year in IT support at Best Buy (Geek Squad), followed by one year of sales.
Setup and maintained servers using different types of Unix-like systems, from different providers, such as Canadian Web Hosting and EC2.
Worked with local businesses on different kinds of projects, including software systems, web design, and payment integration using Stripe.
